Rattly Tailgate

has anyone a remedy for a rattling tailgate

Thought if it was a simple fix, to save trip to dealers

I got someone to pull on the strap whilst I was driving , and it stopped

Is there any adjustment in it

Evening. You could adjust the tailgate latch (in the threshold) - I tired this and it didn't work. My tailgate was really noisy and 'squeaky' - took it back to dealers last week. To adjust properly they need to remove tail lights and adjust/realign various bits. Its solved the problem. Recommend returning to the dealer! By the reaction I got from them it seems like its a common problem that they're familiar with!
