I'm looking for a Carplay radio for my daughters 2012 Polo. There are loads of double din options that do everything, but need a fascia and fitting kit, which pushes the price up.

I keep coming back to the RCD330/360 because it's plug and play and looks OEM. Not too fussed about the lack of DAB as a phone will be plugged in all of the time. There's no steering wheel controls or parking sensors to retain either. Price wise, it takes some beating, but what are they really like?

I bought a noname RCD330 for my skoda yeti for this reason. Great unit but only used it for a month as I sold the car, it has sat in a box since.

I’ve had an RCD330 in my mk5 golf for years. Paid something like £130 at the time. I love it. Easy to fit. Looks great. Solid little unit. Would do again without a doubt.

I’ll add that you need to check your canbus. There is a known issue with battery drain with older cars. Mine was alright because a previous owner had updated mine already.

The canbus is fine. I believe it was pre 2008/9 cars that had the issues. It has an RCD510 at the moment and that would have drained the battery in an earlier car.

Nice one. My Golf had the RCD510 previous to the RCD330.
