Hi Guys,
Like many, I currently have a bed system that folds over and sits on the folded rear seats. It needs the seats in place to support about 1/3 of the plywood bed deck.
I'm looking to build a supporting frame (two legs and possibly a cross bar) that would support the bed deck and allow me to remove the seats. There are only two of is in the van and the extra rear storage would be handy on our next trip. We can then put the frame in when we need the bed.
Has anyone done anything similar? I'm thinking to either connect to the seat mounts in the floor (preferred if I can find the right connector as it would lock into place), find another connection point, or just free stand some legs and a cross bar.
Any help appreciated!
