Rear cab alarm sensor location?

Hi, has anyone had the extra alarm sensor fitted by VW in the rear cab / loading area on a T6 Kombi? I can't see where it has been fitted and I tried locking myself in with a bulkhead in the way and nothing went off.

I expected to see some ultrasonics somewhere, like the ones at the front in the map lights console nearest the window.

Cheers, so I should be able to see them, they need line of sight to work? I was told there must be a malfunction and they will order another set, looks like they forgot to fit them then..

Just checked again, I don't have any plastic trim in that area, just body coloured metal.

I got the van back yesterday, now a stick on wireless white PIR has been fitted in the location shown in the earlier picture. It arms and disarms with the key fob but has a different sounder and doesn't flash the lights. Looks to me like a cheap 3rd party fix and not the VW part I paid for.

Also seems there was nothing fitted in the first place even though they said it was all done.

This is all by a main VW dealer BTW.

Has anyone had the genuine VW part fitted into their Kombi or panel van?

@Radorik that is not good enough. Refuse to accept it as it does not conform to VW OEM fit and function.

Trades description.. Not got VW or Audi symbols on it, or not the part number ordered and paid for = not good enough.. And doesn't meet the thatcham or VW spec for alarm so insurance might be funny over loss of tools? Stand firm with your dealer, as otherwise they will be harder to argue the toss with in future..
