Hi, im thinking the same thing, i have a single slider so thinking making custom storage behind the driver by replacing the panel under the window, similar to the kiravans door store, will most likey put usb sockets and cup holder on that.
You could always attach a flip down cup folder from ebay on the panel?
If you have a twin slider and 1+1 up front there are some cool centre consoles you can get or make too

That’s the issue I have double slider and a double passenger seat.

only option I’ve seen is Caravelle rear panels - seems excessive for cup holders to lay out £250

so I’m still hunting

Kids not happy about no cup holders in the rear of our Kombi and rightly so. Off to France shortly for the TdF so I have screwed water bottle cages to some hexi-ply and fixed that to the pillars with heavy duty Velcro. It won’t win any awards but does the job well. I hope it is of some use to someone. Cheers

These will screw to the door panels on single and twin slider and shouldn’t foul the bodywork as long as they are closed.

That’s asking for trouble in my house hold as they would always forget to make sure they’re folded up!

I've gone low tech. I've put car seat organisers on the backs of the two captains chairs. Places for drinks, snacks, general kids tat and rubbish

I have ordered a pair of those fold down holders and will report how I get on on my holidays, see if the kids break them!

I printed some that sit in the grove where the seat belts come in the middle row.

We were out in my Mk2 Golf the other day. The kids asked why there weren't any cup holders. I reminded them that they were born with cupholders on the end of their arms.
