Rear Panels

I am going to sound deaden and insulate the rear and not fussed about carpeting at this stage.

Is there a panel that covers this area on both sides. Seems strange it has nothing there and not sure why. Looks like there is holes possibly for clips

That's standard. If you want it to the floor then cut a new panel from some 4mm ply

Got some old hardboard from last van so will do that. Just wondering if purpose shaped piece available. Wonder why they don’t cover out of factory

Most are covered by the stuff people put in their vans I think is VW's view on it!!

Plus they love to save money and cut corners... (literally in this case!)
