Rear Reg Plate Lights Problem?

I replaced every bulb in the van (barn door T6) between April 2024 and now, replacing the led rear reg plate lights mid September 2024.



They've already gone, but THQ replaced them. Just took it off and noticed this



Any idea what's caused this? Common problem?

I got a new pair of THQ ones in the garage because i thought they were junk and never fitted then. I just replaced the bulbs with festoon leds and never had leaks or corrosion.

I've replaced them, and they seem to work fine now....but for how long i do not know
