Rear seats fitment

Currently in the process of sound deadening the van etc. Question is should I leave the floor until the rear seat brackets have been fitted or can I sound deaden, ply the floor and fit the seats at a later date? Probably going to be a few months until can afford rear seats and don't really want to leave the floor uncovered for that length of time. ThanksIMG_20200427_154054_111.jpg

Unless fitting rails, or some form of quick release seats - floor first. Is it a RnR bed, or Kombi style seats?

Looking at some kombu style seats mate. Does the floor need cutting when fitting the seats or is it a case of drilling some.holes for the bolts?

Its just holes to drill. These are the brackets and there are divots in the floor in various places where they fit (depending on seat configuration)

Looks like the floor will need rectangular holes cut, ideally by positioning, but not fixing floor so positions can be marked. Sure they can be cut/routered once floor is fixed.

They are quite deep and the rubber is also quite deep. The plastic trims clip on tightly and push the rubber floor down. Ply floor and covering thickness quite critical to enable the plastic trims to push on. I’m sure this will have been dealt with before.

Let me know if you need any measurements. This is mine.

Do you need a ply floor then, or would an original rubber load mat work for you - then the holes are there and you know the trims will fit? A few on sale with seats on here. If you wanted a 3 seat bench instead of the 2+1, I'll have one available myself soon, as swapping to an RIB, so ply floor. Seat, floor, belts etc.
