Rear tow ball rack / Buzzrack

Tested out my new Buzzrack Buzzpro P10 last weekend with a little trip down to Cornwall.

Got bit from here: BUZZ RACK Buzzpro P10 multi-purpose tow ball platform no. BRMP01.

Photo is with it unloaded (obviously ;)) but carried the awning and chairs with ease and was a handy platform to stand on whilst I loaded the bikes- they are on a MaxxRaxx - also a good bit of kit.fullsizeoutput_6047.jpeg6178d3b6-f903-46c1-a2ad-cc4f80c7c4df.jpg

Tow bar is rated to 150kg nose weight and the MaxxRaxx up to 75kg. In reality I'm unlikely to ever load it to the max, but seems very well made and a handy alternative to the trailer. I may get a box of some sort in the future to go on top.

I adapted a lightboard I already had to fit using a couple of 25mm stainless, rubber coated p-clips which were perfect diameter for the frame.

Just posting in case anyone else is looking for similar luggage carry solutions. Would recommend (and a lot easier to reverse than a trailer in narrow Cornish lanes ).

Good post and nice to see pics of it in action. Thank you

Hi Guys, if its of any interest attaching racks to a detachable bar is a nightmare. Just to demonstrate it is possible, I attach a photo of my trials bike on a rack that is fitted to a swan neck detachable tow bar, I added the plate with lights and number plate for convenience. Secured in place with two M10 cap head screws. Bike and rack probably 85+ kgs. Notice bike is not strapped to the car and I dont hang around :)

Cheers Gary

What do you find the problem with attaching it to a detachable bar out of interest? (Useful to know if I ever change or for others on here)

Mine is a flange towbar with a bracket that attaches via the bolts so the bike rack bolts directly onto that (very sturdy) and the BuzzRack onto the towball itself. Means I can also tow a trailer instead of the BuzzRack if I want.

Quite simple really with a bolt on your attachment have a secure fixing with standard 16mm bolts at 90mm centres. Fitting to a ball is a bit wobbly. However I simply made an adapter to fit snuggly onto the ball and clamp on the neck. This has a plate welded on that has the standard bolt centres so you can then bolt on your accessories.
