Rear Window Wiper

I'm about to convert a panel van without a tailgate washer/wiper and wondered if it's worth the hassle of fitting one?

Anyone running rear glass without wash/wiper care to share their thoughts i.e does it suffer particularly badly from road spray?

The search function seems to throw up lots of information on how to fit one, but not much as to if it's worth the hassle and even less on people experience of not having one hence my question.

I have one but with bulkhead, tinted glass and a bike rack can't really see through back window, had van just over 12 months and never used, side mirrors and parking sensors work well so Imo I wouldn't fit if it wasn't there

I have a pannel van with factory glazed tailgate. I specced it without wiper as prefer the cleaner look. Has never bothered me not having the wiper, give the glass a coat of rain repellent it’s fine
