recommend a HID kit

hello i have a 2018 Kombi, and i am wanting to upgrade the headlight output

can anyone recommend a HID kit?

Have you got aftermarket headlights? If not it will fail the mot.

I got THQ lights and fitted a Hids4U Stealth 55w kit.

got the original headlights. planning to put the original bulbs back in for MOT

Bumper off every year for MOT would annoy the hell out of me.......wheel swap to winters is enough.

I'm presuming that you have H4 headlights?

If so, HIDs won't work. The halogen bulb has two filaments. One for dipped and one for main beam. Each one focused on a different part of the reflector. HIDs are a single light source that will give you essentially main beam regardless of which beam you want.

I'm not condoning this in any way, but it you are insistent on doing it, you'll need to use LEDs.
