Reflective strip at bottom of tailgate

Hi all.

My Caravelle has this reflective strip at the bottom of the tailgate. It fits so well I thought OEM but VW claim to only do chrome versions. Does anyone have similar or know where to buy a replacement please?

We used on T5's but perhaps T6 they only have one colour,

Sorry, to be clearer. VW only have chrome (not reflective) trim

Thanks Ian, I wasn't clear enough in my description. Apologies. VW only claim to have chrome trim. Not reflective at all. The strip on mine is reflective and a opaque silver colour

Thinking back I can only recall chrome to be honest. perhaps yours has faded

Haha. If it was OEM then you’d probably be right, but it’s aftermarket so more durable . And it’s made of rubber. I’ll take some photos in the daylight now it’s off the van.

Would I be right in saying you can remove the top layer of reflective material, thus leaving a silver strip present?
