Regen help

Hi
Just needed help on the regen side of things.
Had a new egr replacement and also cleaned dpf, the problem I am getting now is every time it regen it does not get up to the temperature to regen.
It throws up code of bank 1 sensor 2 which I have replaced.
Every time it’s on regen now I have to drive 20 miles at high speeds in order the regen to complete. If I slow down then it stops until I drive at high speeds again. Can anyone help please.
Could it be something to adapt through vcd?

Hmmm - do you still have the fault?
P2032 - Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor; Bank 1 Sensor 2 - Short to GND
The code suggests there is a wiring problem - no power to the sensor??

I did have that replaced with a secondhand sensor by the mechanics.

I had exactly the same thing, turned out the garage had reconnected the egr wiring incorrectly. Now they’ve connected correctly all the errors have gone away. Apparently it’s easily done !

Any idea how they managed that? The plug only goes into the socket one way.

Don't know whether you already have it, but DPF Monitor and a Carista (or similar to either) can give you a live 'picture' of the DPF parameters and temps/fuel injection during regen. Won't solve the problem but useful if you are not already watching the data live.
