Planning the dream here and while working in the van today I realised that I need some extra height in there for cooking so Im thinking about a Reimo mushroom top as I would still like to keep some of the roof space for other things solar/spare tire/storage or ventilation or as much of these as humanly possible.
I've a T6.1 LWB and the tyre will be too big for the under van carrier. I'm thinking of putting my water there instead.
Could you put a heavy tyre on one of the barn doors, would it be too heavy or on the side of the van... Im thinking of a slightly more off grid tyre, don't know anything about the spec of it yet.
I'm just brain storming out loud here and curious if anyone has any experience with combining a mushroom top with these other roof elements.
