Hi, I’ve been away in the van all week and noticed this strut under the seat pad. It seems to serve no purpose as neither lifting the seat pad or dropping the seat back to make the bed seem to activate it. Any idea what it is for or maybe why it isn’t being activated?
The reason I ask is that I replaced the one for the rear ‘shelf’ and it transformed the boot space as now the shelf is supported by the strut in any position, as I expected.
