Removal of interior light fuse.

Looking to do a first trip in the van to see what we need to get for the summer. I haven't got a lesuire battery so just relying on elec hook up. If I remove the fuse for the interior lights would that stop my starter battery from draining and would that take out my step lights as well??

It also takes out your rear lights so don’t drive with it out
