Removing 3 pin security bolt from spare wheel - ex RAC van

I’ve bought a ex RAC van -one of the tyres has a weird wear pattern leading to a wooomp noise - tried to get the spare off but found this - how do I get it off please ?

You can try a set of extractors. They're inexpensive, and a better than evens chance they'll do the job.

Or you can weld a bolt to it so you have something to put a wrench on.

There's a high chance the locking wheel nut tool is floating around in the van somewhere!

Saves buying anything or welding anything!

Go have a rummage

If you can’t find the key try a universal socket. Something like this.

Hammer screwdriver between the bolt and the outer stainless ring to split it after which molegrips will get the bolt undone. I did this on the hardshoulder without too much trouble.
