Removing roof rails from my velle

Bought a LWB with roof rails, not too fond of the rails so would like to remove them.

I'm assuming it's just a case of taking the caps off, taking the rails off then just fitting something to cover the holes.

Is there anything specific I need to put in the hole, like a seal of some short or specific size screws? Just so I can get them before I take them off.
