Current set up: 2017 T6 with Clayton LPS linked to 100Ah agm leisure battery under driver's seat. The Clayton charges the leisure battery via a CTEK D250SA.
I believe the agm battery is a very weak link and actually pulling down the usability of the set up.
Having looked at the various threads re lithium batteries I am interested in replacing the agm battery with the Renogy 100Ah smart lithium iron phosphate. Seems like a good buy at the current offer price of £500.
From an electrical circuit pov I believe the Renogy should slot straight into the current arrangement - please do advise if I have this wrong.
Initially I had thought the Renogy to be smaller than the existing battery but I have just found a detailed diagram which shows that the commonly quoted dimensions do NOT include the terminals, so it's actually about 10mm taller.
Can anyone advise the max battery height that can be accommodated under the driver's seat?
I have Sports Craft swivel seat bases fitted.
I guess the real answer is to remove the driver's seat but I'm hoping that someone knows the answer!
