Replace passenger captain's seat with bench

I have a T6.1 with two heated "captain's" seats which have been re-covered with leather.

Would it be possible/easy to replace the two captain's chairs with a standard driver's seat and a bench seat?

Keep your captain seats.
Much comfier than the bench and much more desirable.
You can’t access the rear via the cab with the bench without getting out and getting in the side door.

Having used both, I don’t actually agree with that but you‘ve probably got to do a little bit of work on the bench to get there. On the plus side, the bench gives a huge amount of additional storage which is particularly valuable to us in a camper.

I’ve got the bench in my T5.1 and captains chairs in my T6 and there’s no comparison in comfyness between the two IMO.
