Any other recommendations with pics for a resonated cat back twin tipped exhaust (stainless steel) with pics. Seen this scorpion (SVW047D) which looks good exhaust.JPG

I have that one, just with the discreet tip instead. It is a lovely bit of kit. The welds and bends in it…mmmm...if you like that kind of thing.

Only thing I would say is you need two pairs of hands to fit it. It comes in a lot of pieces so getting them all aligned takes a bit of fiddling. But very happy with it.

I have a miltek (with no boxes and a discreet tip) .
If you like it super quiet then you you are right to buy one with a box in it.
Quality of the miltek is spot on so worth a look .
They do a resonated system with twin tailpipes.

Is there any noticeable difference with the new pipe?, does it sound much better?,

What's the discreet tip? I do see some photos of that exhaust with the chrome tip with rolled ends, and other with chrome tip (possibly slightly larger) and just cut ends. I don't see options on the Scorpion website.

A few years a go a chum bought a Scorpion cat back for a Mini Cooper and it was indeed a lovely well made thing to behold in terms of fabrication.

Scrub that. I found their proper website where it's all explained....

There is a difference with the non resonated system , abit deeper note,a little more burble, not massively different but if you have a posh van then i reckon it lacks just a gnats of refinement. I find it can have a very slight drone at certain speeds ( could be the tailpipe pointing at the floor on our already lowered van) .
The miltek system is the same regardless of the tailpipe choice so it's built to sit below the bumper height anyway
add to that the downwards turn of the discreet tip and sits too low for my liking.
Touched ours on a few sleeping policemen.
I have turned the tip sideways at the mo so i dont destroy it reversing up to a curb . .
