Replacement of tail light

Hi there I’m new to the campervan world. Have had T6 for 9 months and cyclist has slammed into my tail near side light while in stationary traffic. I now have a crack. I’ve ordered new light but wanted to ask how easy it is to replace it yourself or do you think I should take it to mechanic.
if so, would anyone have reliable VW mechanics in south london/Surrey area -I live in london and work between london and Surrey so can go either places. Will also need them for MOT/service in few months.

As long as it’s the right one, it’s two screws, give it a nudge out sideways, disconnect - easy as that.

Might be worth putting a wanted ad in the for sale section as a lot of people replace the standard lights. You may get a replacement much cheaper!

A crack won't fail and mot providing its not showing white light .
Doddle to swap,2 minute job

As cjw says, it unclips by nudging SIDEWAYS. don't try and pull it out backwards.
