[Resolved] App Connect installed but CarPlay doesn’t start

New to me T6 2018

Have Discover Media Pro.

Have this screen.

However when connecting iPhone, the phone charges ok but the above screen doesn’t change and CarPlay doesn’t kick in?

Nothing happens.

I’ve tried:

2 genuine cables
2 iPhones
Head unit Factory reset
The USB next to the gearstick.
The USB in the glovebox.

The previous owner did mention they had a new screen on their head until. Maybe a cable was missed when the unit went back in?
