so I've finally got bluetooth,carplay and voice command working on my retrofitted composition media,works great with ios 13 beta on carplay

I'd love to do the same thing as I'm not a huge fan of non aftermarket head units

Is it just a case of picking up a 2nd hand unit, sending to Poland, getting it back and slapping it in? Or is there more to do vcds etc?

i got the component protection removed with ODIS first but yeah

That's through a dealer then? They are happy to do that? Sorry I'm new when it comes to this sort of thing...

The unit must be untouched after removing from vehicle
Being powered up outside a vehicle is bad or worse still powered up in an incorrect vehicle could make it toast and you wouldn’t know !!
It’s not a clean cut process so there’s always room for probs
