Thanks in advance to anyone who helps out with this

As already mentioned I have just recently become a proud owner of a T6 Caravelle, my first Vw ever I think I’m enjoying it, just getting head around the various things

Today, arranged by the dealership, I had a reverse camera fitted by as they termed a reputable company who came to my home and we’re done within 2 hours

Unfortunately after engaging reverse, the guidelines were well off what I’d expect and looking at an image of them when parked, if indeed the guidelines were representative of my wheels, then half of the vehicle is on the pavement and the other half is on the centre white line of the road

Contacted fitting company and they are telling me it’s the norm and get used to it, I’m not sure this is so? Any advice please will be greatly received

Definitely not right. I’ve seen this on a retro fitted camera on barn doors before because the camera is off centre but with a ‘velle you’ll have a tailgate. My camera is centred. Is it OEM?

Deaky, thanks for reply
OEM? I’m a rookie newbie lol, (I will likely be making a few posts here, hence decision to go vip straight away) the dealership told me it is going to be VW genuine
I’m convinced those lines should match my wheels and even move as I turn the steering wheel

It looks normal-ish..
Here are a couple of photos from when this was discussed elsewhere;

This Cali is parked with one wheel just on the kerb;

This is mine and I'm definitely not sticking out on the road;

When I look at mine I imagine the the wheels are on the inside of the green horizontals like this;

Thank you Loz, your first image shows as you say the wheel on the kerb, my image is the wheel next to the kerb and showing half way across the pavement
There is absolutely no way I can use these lines as guidelines into a parking space for instance, not only are they wider than my wheels width, but wider than my Caravelle

I wonder if there is any zoom screw on the camera and if you zoomed it out you would get better results?

Loz, not seen anything, waiting on an email from the company who fitted, having asked them to remedy or remove, the dealership said they are not happy and they paid the bill, well they charged me and then paid them lol

Surely your contract of sale is with the dealership not the contractor direct, get the dealer on the case and give them a time limit to correct or you would like them to get another company to sort it at their expense.
