Rib altior rear seat - sliders

Hi

Currently very interested in a second hand vw transporter. It has three seat rib altior in the rear.

Ideally I would want these to be able to slide up behind the driver. I know its possible but can you do it with the seats Currently in the van, or would it need brand new seats?

Also, any idea on the sort of cost? I understand its alot!

Welcome.

The RIB Altair base is fixed to the floor between the wheel arches. The ’slider’ part is only approx 200m. See this video…

I suspect you are referring to the VW floor rails that would allow the seat to slide right up.

The Uberbus Flux uses the VW rails with a modified RIB bEd and the Reimo uses rails too…

Has anyone had a RIB seat fitted using the Uberbus Flux rails? Search was inconclusive. I have a few questions while deciding between that or the Reimo 3000 - dangly legs? I sat on a fixed rib and can't touch the floor at 5'11. Does this piss you off long term? -ratchet system, does it allow...
