Rib Back Seats - VFM?

So I’m at the stage of choosing a rear seat / bed but am finding it difficult to justify the £2000 they want for a two seat rib bed in matching Vw cloth are they worth it ? They do look nice I must admit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Could anyone give some advice on the higher seat position of these as I’m not planing on doing a pop top
