Rib bed, 20cm slider + porta potti

I think I read somewhere that a 120cm RIB bed (with optional 20cm slider) can't fit a porta potti underneath, whereas the fixed non sliders can. Can anyone confirm this please? I would guess that there must be some kind of extra brackets in the way or something.

“220mm Slider Frames: Whether you choose to have a sliding frame or a fixed frame is somewhat a personal choice. However, if you plan on having a Porta-Pottie housed under the seat frame, you must choose a fixed frame.”

Hi, I’ve been a little research myself and found this on clearcutconversions regarding the RIB bed. If you go on the link it gives a lot more information. Hope this helps

Perfect! Thanks for this. I wonder how much additional space the slider frame brackets take up. If too much, then it could defeat the object in having a RIB bed for all the storage space it provides. These are a crazy amount of money so I want to make sure I get the right thing ;-)

I can confirm this with a 335 porta potti, went with the sliding frame as it works well with a SWB giving more floor space when in the seated position, as you need the seat fully forward to allow it to fold out flat, then when in the seated position you can slide it all the way to the rear.
As for storage I have a clayton lps2 and a hoover stored in one section and the other is left empty for luggage. Keep the porta potti under a foot stall from dunelm which is a popular solution.
