Rib bed board magnets are sqeaking!

Hi
I've got a 112 rib bed under which my converters fixed a panel with magnets so I could take the whole thing off an get into the area under the bed. Worked well for a bit but it's now super squeaky and doing me head in! Any suggestions of how to stop the squeak or the best type of bed board to make the most of the storage space?

Just cover the magnets with a thin piece of fabric, that'll sort the noise
