Hi all,

Does anyone know how to get inside the RIB 112cm seat base cover please?

I see that there are zip teeth, but no zip slider thing....

The foam for the top section has come away from the foam from the bottom section, so there’s a line where the layers fail to meet.

I need to get inside and glue the foam together.

Ours has been recovered but I think they have reused the original zip. It looks like the slider and stop at the other end have been taken off and then replaced with a couple of stitches to stop the zip coming apart - unpick the stitches and you should be able to pull the zip apart - you would then need to get another slider to close and then restitch in a similar way.

Thanks @Davenjo I suspected I’d need to be handy with a needle. I may try and sweet talk on of my wife’s friends that restores furniture.

Hi. I have just posted a thread about this as I have exactly the same problem. A ridge formed and on inspection the foam is not glued properly. Did you resolve the problem with just some good glue. It's really annoying!!
