Rock & Roll vs RIB Beds

I'm undecided which type to go for as this is my first time kitting out a van. I would really appreciate members opinions as to the pros & cons of these two types.

Any help you can give would really help.

My advice is to sit on one and think how long can I find this comfortable for, then try it as a bed and think along the same lines and then look at the safety side of the design and testing if it’s to be used when travelling.
It’s a lot of money if you get it wrong as I once did.
My seat bed is only used for site purposes so made my own with the foam I wanted and the base height to suit.

I'd second the idea of sitting on one before you commit, particularly if you're tall. We were all set for a RIB bed, until I sat on one and my head hit the ceiling. While most of the time I'm in the driving seat , even sitting back there for a lunch stop etc. would be awkward. That led us to Titan beds, a few important cm lower and all is well. Can't fault the build or service from Titan, even if we did have to wait 6 months!

The RIB/Titan style bed also offers more storage space behind the seat. That's most of the reason we went this design to keep the middle of the van clear of "essential travel items" aka - junk!
