I have a stealth pop top on my t6 and looking at ways of transporting kayaks/ paddle boards. The roof manufacturers do not recommend roof rails for load carrying primarily due to wind loading. Has anyone ever mounted cross bars from awnings rails? I currently have a vamoose on the near side but have plans to install one on the off side as the van is a twin slider. Obviously the cross rails would have to be removed to pop the roof
