Have had my reversing camera supplied and fitted by SATNAV SYSTEMS today

These guys are totally amazing, they supply and fit for VW and AUDI using only genuine parts

I wasn’t happy about something, expressed my concerns and it was dealt with until I was happy, price and service unquestionably excellent

Adding some images of how it looks, the guidelines match to the parking space and when viewed in the rear mirror you can see there’s about 1 brick width of space, this allows you to have a comfortable parking experience

That looks really good.

The reversing camera installed by our campervan converter displays the picture on the head unit but doesn’t show any guidelines. The camera is on barn doors and fitted immediately above the registration plate. I don’t know the camera system supplier.

I haven’t spoken to the converter yet about it but are the missing guidelines likely to be a fault or the result of a cheap system? Or is it that they didn’t want to bother with a VCDS change?

Barn doors are better without guidelines as the camera is off centre so the lines would be out too

What sort of price are they to get fitted? My transporter has the Satnav but a reversing camera would be very welcome.

Dependant on your location, they are in Surbiton (KT postcode) but do send out technicians, which likely adds to the cost, I paid less than £900 and had them come out to me over 100 miles, arrived when they said they would took as long as they said, clean in and out, didn’t notice they had been after, no mess no disturbance, advice? Call them it cost nothing to ask, mention me or this forum, they’re aware of it, who knows they may offer a little discount, I know for sure if you go to them they’ll drown you in coffee tea and courtesy

Thanks for the information. But North Lincolnshire may be a little far away for them. Still a phone call will cost nothing.
