SCA Poptop fabric noise

Hi. Sorry if stupid question but am new to the world of having a poptop.

I have an SCA 292 and generally pretty quiet apart from what I would describe a fabric rubbing noise. I understand there will be movement so guess I am asking:

Is this noise normal and something you just get used to?
Any tips for reducing it?

Hi Mike ,

I also have a new 292 roof . Mines the same I’m trying to solve it but I’ve not got it sussed as yet .

I tightened the retaining clips which is easy with a 10mm spanner so it clamps down with more force . But the fabric on the fabric cover over the cab rubs on the canvas which is rolled up above it . Generally road vibrations cause the noise On bumpier roads .

Thanks for the reply. I have tried without the fabric cover but still get the noise. Was thinking about getting some Velcro to cover the rough Velcro on the canvas (if that makes sense) to see if that helps.

Good idea , let me know how you get on.
I’m hoping as it’s all so new it will soften up a bit from use .
