Screen cover that allows doors to open

I see lots of threads about front screen covers, but all my other older vws had these and I could open the front doors whilst fitted. Just took delivery of a custom covers screen and the doors don't open when fitted (actually, it doesn't fit well either). As the van isn't a walkthrough I need access for storage purposes so regularly need access to the doors.

Can anyone recommend a screen cover that allows this?

Most are designed the same way.

By the triangle Section hooking over the door.

We can get in and out of ours by cracking the door open, then pulling the triangle bit off the doors.

Other options are the three separate covers that stick in the inside of the glass, that are independent,so the doors can be opened freely.

My external cover separates into 3 pieces and is held together with velcro. I just pull the velcro apart at the top of the windscreen to enable the door to open.

Internal screens

This was my thought exactly but doesnt stop the frosty or the condensation.
Depends on what you need from a cover .
We’ve tried both internal & external, we’ve settled on internal. They keep the light out, keep it warm in winter & cool in summer. And you can deploy them in rain & snow without getting out of the van. They’re also dry to put away if it’s inclement outside. Their whole condensation thing is a bit of a red herring. Assuming you have side windows, you’re still going to get condensation regardless of what type of screen cover you have. The secret to reducing condensation is ventilation.

Thanks all. I have had other vans in the past (Bay's, T25 and a T4) and as I recall the doors always opened fine with the front cover on. Weird.
