Sealing up leaky DRL's?

Hopefully someone can help with this...

I've got a set of the Travelinlite lower grill DRL's fitted to my van, but unfortunately they filled with water after less than a year of being fitted. To Travenlite's credit they sent me out a replacement pair quickly, but I've not yet got round to fitting them as it will be a bumper off job.

As I want to make sure this is the last time I need to replace these, I am planning to run a bead of some kind of sealant all the way around where the clear lens attach's to the body of the DRL as this is the only place that water can get in. As they will be in the groove of the grill you wont see that these have been sealed.

So questions are, has anyone had a similar issue and if so what was your solution? Or any suggestions on what i can use to seal them that wont shrink over time and let water in???

All help, greatly appreciated as always!
