Are the seat brackets the type which allow for the seat back to recline?

No, this is the fixed angle OEM bracket. For a reclined (but still fixed) angle, you need the Vancraft bracket

The initial set sold (much to my surprise!) I've got a set but without the clip within the base. Which bit do you need?

I'm after the two rectangular plastic pieces, each piece has a couple of plastic prongs that poke out. They're missing from my seat base since I bought the van.
