Seatbelt Mount

Hi,

Could someone please post a picture of their driver’s seatbelt anchor mount please? The end with the splined bolt at the base of the B pillar....

The reason I ask is that mine was mounted so it points up, and the seatbelt has half a turn on it and doesn’t lay flat, so I removed it, and there’s marks on the paint that indicate that it should point up, but then the seatbelt doesn’t sit correctly. If I turn it around so the seatbelt lays flat, it points out towards the centre of the van.

Which is correct!?

Ps I didn’t do the conversion!

Sits flat. Have you checked it’s not twisted behind the b pillar?

Strange. No, not checked that yet, but that’s the next job. It rolls in and out OK so I assumed it was ok.

Have you pulled the complete belt out of the roller until it stops ?
There could be a twist at the start of the roll

Yay! It was twisted in the pillar.

Cheers Pauly. I did check that initially. It seems it was twisted in the pillar. Just took the trim off to see, and fed it through the top so it lies flat. It reels back more quickly now, and at least it’s not rubbing on the inside of the pillar!

I seem to have this problem on the passenger side, the eye is pointing down and it looks like it's meant to do that but the seatbelt isn't sitting quite right?!
