Self fitting speakers and sound deadening.

Hi All

I plan on upgrading the speakers in my T6.1 to the Focal ones. At the same time I'll add some sound deadening.

Is there any thing else I should do whilst the door cards are off?

I planned on buying:

Silent Coat 2mm
Focal IS VW 165

I was going to fit the silent coat to the inside of the door, to the bit between the door and the card ( don't know the name) and to the back of the door card (I assume that this will give it a bit more rigidity to stop it vibrating)

Is there any thing else I would need? Is that sound deadening stuff good enough for all that stuff, or would people recommend something else?

Hi mate depends how far you want to go we do a full kit called a Dead Doors Bundle found here. It's one of those jobs your best doing once this kit allows you to do outer and inner door skins plus the door card. Have you considered water guards to protect the rear of the speakers and channel the sound through the door cards and into the cAbin to make the most of your upgrade?

Yeah, we do those too buddy in 6.5 and 8-inch versions found here. We can supply pretty much most things
