Shortening seatbases

Hi guys.

My T6 has a Kirah twin seat swivel fiTed and the seat height is now 40mm higher than normal. I cant sit in the seat without my head hitting the roof.

I had this issue with my T4 and simply cut the seat bases down and welded new fixings at the bottom to restore the default height.

The T6 base does not look to be so easy.
I am a proficient fabricator and welder but was wondering if someone could share thier solution or how they reduced the height before I go and over engineer a complex solution?

Dunno but if you work this out I'll pay you to do mine! My missus wants rid of the swivel as she nearly touches the roof. She's only 5'6. God knows what is like for actually tall people

Somebody mentioned on here recently that their Exploria-converted T6 maintained seat height adjustment. If you suss this, we're very interested in finding a solution so please post here
