Side step and rear step nightmare- which size?

Hi all, so I’ve fitted my floor and the side step I bought from van style is way off.

so I’ve used 9mm batons between and round the ridges
6mm insulation mat (probably less when compressed,
12mm ply
2mm altro

so that’s a total of 29mm from the original which sat on the metal (was a pannel van)

which step should I be looking at buying so I dont get the wrong one again?

cheers,

The Kombi standard step is deeper but maybe not that deep.
The Caravelle step is the deepest and fits Reimo rail floors. (They are also shaped to fit full plastic trim side panels but look OK with carpet walls if you cut the upstand off) The Caravelle also has a different step light but you may not have one at al if you have a PV.
There are some photos on my build and there are measurements on the forum but I can't find them just now.

Try here for more info

Hi all fitted a new kombi step to accommodate ply floor in a T6.1 had to put a few screws in as the top clips didn’t fit as it was a tad high, still happy with results. Now my question is as I’ve put the old step up for sale and I’ve been asked if it will fit a T5 anyone know the answer?IMG_4218.jpeg
