Sliding door child lock

At the summer camp after a good nights sleep we found we were locked in our van as the sliding door would not open so I had to open the passenger door and open from outside. When we got home I booked our van in with VW in Stoke on Trent under warranty as our van only has 1 month left.
Anyway I drove from Towyn to Stoke last night stopped at home and this morning drove to the Van centre at Cobridge, after 10 minutes the Technician came to me and asked what the problem was and I said the sliding door won’t open from inside and it transpired that I had inadvertently put the child lock on , have you ever felt a fool, anyway back at our caravan in Towyn.

Don't worry John, probably the only time you'll ever get out of the garage without them lightening your wallet! (I'm hoping they didn't charge you!?...)

@TeeCeeJay what came good out of this is I have a 2002 Triumph Thunderbird 900 and on Sunday morning I went out with some mates on a breakfast run and on our return there was coolant pouring from under the petrol tank and over the engine, I couldn’t do anything about it as we were ready to go to our caravan in Towyn. So last night I-drove home leaving Pat and Roxy at the caravan so that I could be at VW this morning, so 8 pm last night I decided to have a look at my motorbike I removed the seat and petrol tank expecting the worst ( possible expansion tank split, thermostat housing split ) but what I found was good as the top hose jubilee clip had broken the screw assembly had broken off.
So new jubilee clip, top up with coolant, bleed the system, fit petrol tank and seat and ready to go completed by 9 pm.

Excellent. Good to know you didn't have a completely wasted trip home and that you are out and about on your bikes again!
