T6 diesel LWB sliding door locking issues

After a recent sliding door ( SD )replacement I now have this issue:

Light bulb signal on dashboard display

The diagram on dashboard shows SD permanently open.
(which is slightly annoying as it prioritises over other things like phone call recents / vehicle info)

Sometimes I have to manually unlock the SD from inside

NOTE: Otherwise the van locks/opens Ok , an no alarm has ever been triggered.
The large nationwide company who did the work said “its probably this module”
(A module behind the door card - nearest the rear of the door)

As workload dictated desperation for the return of my van, we mutually agreed that they’d get the part so I could replace myself.

I have now done this - Goes what its exactly the same!!!!

Any advice greatly appreciated

Could it be the other module by the handle, or is it just tension cables over stretched ??

Any advice greatly appreciated

start by making sure the sider electrical pins are making contact and connected.

then follow the loom inside the slider to make sure its connected to the lock assembly,

then look at the lock assembly itself.

the door switch is part of the lock assembly,

....

why was the slider changed? - possible loom damage?

Body work on passengers side lower side panel undertaken under insurance.
Sliding door was always working

Although, not sure if relevant :-
But at last minute “weren’t happy with the finish“ so ordered a replacement sliding door ….

you will need to have the inside panel off and see whats going on.

or take it back to the place and get them to sort it. . . . if it was working before, and now its not . . . . . . . . .

The loom is all place
I’ve had door card off - pins making
Not sure what to look for - lock looks complicated
Would take it back but van needed and it’s tooth wrenchingly painful going through that process without etc

if you have a replacement lock mech` then try swapping it,

appart from that you will need a multi meter, scan tool etc. . . ( or auto electrician to check the lock and feedback switch)
