Sliding Door Rubber Stop Bit Size

Hi guys,
quick question. I need to remove the rubber bumper in the sliding door.
I need to buy a 12 point star bit. Anyone knows what metric is it? Also, what are they called? Not sure if 12 point, spline and triple square are all names for the same thing.

I bought a kit for around £6.50 that does a few bolts like this (ARB bolts come to mind)
11pc Spline Bit And Socket Set 1/2" Square Drive 30mm 75mm M5 M6 M8 M10 M12 | eBay
The M8 size fits the bolt in question.

I’ve not done the job but how about a longer screw to pull it in with a light application of silicone grease on the rubber.

It’s the slide in piece I’m struggling with. Ordered a new screw as mines threaded from the previous owner…

Not sure what you mean by ‘the slide in piece’. As the van is now carpet lined the additional thickness might be making it harder.
