Sliding door screw fell off!

Took my van for a 4 hour road trip, and while I was there loading up the van to come back home, I opened the sliding door, which is manual in my van, and I heard a sound of sometime falling, looked under and I found a screw. It was one of 2 screws holding the sliding door from above. I have to admit the kids were not gentle on the sliding door, ramming it whenever they used it.
But I never thought this might happen. Had to screw it back again in place with my key, since I didn’t have the needed star shaped screwdriver for the job.
When I reached home I fastened it properly, and now I’m hoping this doesn’t happen again. Any one had a similar issue?

Slamming the sliding door is a requirement unless you have power latching, crap design (one of many).

The thing is, when the screw starts to loosen up, the door will get out of proper allignment and won’t close unless slammed…
