Sockets and switches?

Hi all, I’ve just bought a t6 highline 4 motion. It has a leisure battery and some other gubbins under the passenger front seat and a switch drivers side under the headlight adjuster, it also has these 3 pin plugs at the back. Any ideas?

Take the panel off and trace the wires back.

I just wondered if this was something that someone else may of seen before. Any idea on the 3 pin plugs?
I’m guessing they are 12v but I’ve never seen anything like that before

Not seen that type of plug before either

Anything happen when you flick the dash switch ?

That’s exactly them? Do you think I can change them to normal cigar type and maybe usb’s
First thing I would do is get A multimeter on them and see if that dash switch is powering them up the have a look at the wiring and see how they are wire and to where. I can’t see why you could not change them out for what socket type you want. Check for fusing to and see what thay are rated at.

Thank you! It’s just to keep the kids happy for now long term project, lots of pennies to save up

They resemble battery charging sockets of years gone by that were fitted to the ancient fire appliances of the 70’s & 80’s when I had a proper job.

I’m assuming it’s all wired to the ‘gubbins’ under the passenger seat, looks like a relay with a red led in it and a black box which I’m guessing is something to do with controlling v the charge of the leisure battery

Will do, I think I may need to take the seat off to see it all properly or might be able to squeeze my hand in with the phone, will have to be a tomorrow afternoon job, back to work tomorrow :mexican wave:

Just be careful - there could be an inverter hidden behind a panel somewhere, and those sockets might be carrying mains voltage.
Check them with a meter, but just take care, dont assume they're a harmless 12v ;)
