Soft close on a t5 Retrofit?

Hi I have a old 2008 t5, I would really like the soft close I drive a lot of people that don’t know how hard you need to close it. I read it’s possible on the the t5.1 with a lot of time and money. Is the t5 too old? Or is there a aftermarket soft close you could buy?

I have only ever made kits for T6 vans, my kits do work on T5 and T5.1 but i dont advertise them as that because there is a difference in the wiring on some for the door open/close signal
Some vans are negative applied signal and some are negative removed signal so although the kits do physically fit if the motor runs backwards you have to swap a couple wires around at the control module to correct it and as i have never had my hands on T5/5.1 to try things out its hard to advise

I dont really post stuff outside the UK and my support would be limited so you best option is prob to try kufatec or carsystems and see if you can source a true T5 kit on the continent
