Software update

Hi, is there any way I can find out about a software update for my T6 2018 150ps, it keeps throwing up P20EE and every now and then the adblue DEF faults and warnings, then they will go off and stay off for a while but come back up every now and then and reading on here looks like this may have been an issue that was sorted with updates, I use local garage for my services and MOTs since 2021 so it definitely hasn’t been done since then, I can’t get the VW app to activate, but in the settings it is showing this… thanks for any help

That’s the version of the head unit software. Need to do a scan in Carista or similar and post it up.

Thanks for reply, I’ve got an OB2 adapter using car scanner but can’t seem to find the relevant details on there if anyone can help

Sorry I don’t know how you do it with odb2 but I’m sure the clever people here will know.

No problem, I’ve got the dash warning up with the adblue DEF, I’ve been for a run at high revs with a DPF cleaner and diesel cleaner in and it is still on, it’s obviously worrying as it is counting down the whole time, I’ve been onto my local VW and it’s end of month until they can get it onto a diagnostic machine so I phoned an alternative specialist up and he said on the phone right away that it would need a new adblue tank as it would be the sensor but at £2k this seems a bit extreme, he said it is a very low chance that it could be bad adblue and can try draining the tank and doing a hard reset, has anyone had this issue?
