Solar and poptop fitting

Hi I have just picked up my t6 from having a solar panel fitted to my skyline aurora poptop. They have fitted a sunshine solar 120w with rear entry. They have cut a hole in the poptop and fed the cables inside the canvas. Picture attached which is now leaking. Is it normal to fit the cables inside the canvas and not on the outside? He originally quoted and paid for a pv logic 200w, so have been peeved that he has not only fitted a different solar panel but hoping it’s fitted correctly. Apart from the leaking

I mean if you’ve paid for 200w then when they have it back to fit what you’ve paid for they’ll be able to sort the leak out at the same time as swapping the panel.
My cable is fitted outside the canvas, but others on the threads on the forum have fitted on the inside of the canvas.
I don’t think it makes much of a difference tbh. At least on the inside if it leaks then you know pretty quickly. Mine was leaking into the roof void for a while before water came in through the side of the rear carpet.
