Solar panel fitting (barn doors)

Hi all,

Recently purchased a solar panel from renogy, I am preparing the cabling internally, I've managed to feed the cable down the d pilar, I wonder if use the barn door grommets or feed the cable through the rear canvas ( mine is storm and his velcro opening at the rear)

If you have the tools available it would be best if you could router a slot into the poptop and use a rear entry solar. It's much easier to seal as it can be treated like a window around the cable entry point. It also looks an awful lot better the cabling being on top!

If you also pay attnetion to which solar you pick some have a small circular cable entry which can be installed with a holesaw instead of needing complex router jigs!
